Next week, October 20 through October 24, is Braly's Red Ribbon Week. We have it every year.
On Monday all the children in the whole school can wear a sports shirt if they would like. I am going to wear a San Francisco Giants shirt. The San Francisco Giants play baseball. If you would like to see some baseball, go to baseball.
Some of the kids at Braly will probably wear sports shirts that have the name of football teams. If you want to see some football go to football.
Sports are fun!
On Tuesday the children at Braly School are going to wear a hat. I think I will wear a baseball hat. On Wednesday the children and teachers are going to wear a shirt backwards. Doesn't that seem funny?
On Thursday we are all going to wear sunglasses. I can't wait. On Friday we will wear red, white or blue like we always do. Next week will be fun at Braly.

The Pumpkin Patch
Hi Alex, Hi Ethan, Hi Jonathan, Hi Joseph P, Hi Joseph T, Hi Julian, Hi Peter, Hi Taka, and Hello Tyler!
I hope you all had a fun weekend. I went to the pumpkin patch. Are you thinking about pumpkins and Halloween? I am. Halloween is October 31. Here are pictures taken at the pumpkin patch today.
Mrs. H., Jaya, Jeanette, John and Raj are going to help you do some fun things with pumpkins on Thursday Oct. 16. Alex's grandmother, Grandy, gave us many little pumpkins. I can show you the little pumpkins tomorrow.
Today is October 12 - Columbus Day! This is the day Christopher Columbus discovered America. Wow! Do you remember the names of the ships he sailed? The Nina, Pinta and the Santa Maria!
I can't wait to see you tomorrow at school.

First Blog
Hello! This is Mrs. Duval. This blog is for my students and their friends and families. One of my students also has a blog. If that person would like to tell us the address of his blog in a comment to my blog we could all look at his blog too.
This week every day is a minimum day. Everyone goes home at 1:32.
On Thursday Mrs. H. will be the teacher again.
During reading circle time we will read more Halloween books. All of the children like By the Light of the Silvery Moon. We always have fun reading this book.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct, 8, the children and I will have circle time from 1:00 to 1:32 while the aides listen to Juanita. She is fantastic. She shares with us great ideas for all of the children.
